Definition / Theory

The human eye has problems to focus blue or yellow light.  When eliminating a portion of either the blue or yellow and at the more specific wavelengths of 490nm or 580nm which are determined to be “crossover” wavelengths.  These “crossover” wavelengths will create confusion to the brain in accepting the true colors, hence blocking these specific wavelengths will enhance all other colors. 

VIVID Color Enhancing lens by adding the 490nm narrowband wavelength absorption which is absorbing the crossover light in the Blue/Green area.  Then by adding the 580nm absorption, we then enhance Red, thus creating more vibrant colors in the full visible spectrum. Lens Technology designed to enhance color and contrast so you can see more detail.

Our Vivid High Contrast Lens，shows further how we absorb in the 580nm range as well as in the 490nm range. 

Also, we create more vibrant reds with having higher transmission in the visible light range.
